The ancient underground burial site of The Meeting Place of the Annunciation suffered its first change and settlement in the August of 1658. But surely this was from a previous epoch for already in the first years of 1600 they were laying to rest the bodies of those who had left this world.
In fact the assignment of the Brothers of the Friends of the Souls in Purgatory was to give a worthy tomb to the corpses and to pray for them.
