The
events which have characterised the life of the
monastery have brought with them loss and
destruction of many famous volumes. |

| A new course
however has appeared with the construction of a
student quarter. This has brought many students
to the monastery and has renewed the life of the
library. It has long been the desire of the
Passionists to save books in danger and the
library now contains over 15,000 volumes with
many from the 15th and 16th centuaries, and over
120 periodicals of which 31 are still in
circulation. |
