The clock in the bell tower was make in 1636 by the clockmaker Carlo Mazzeo. It was comissioned by Father Francesco Carmignano who traded in the old clock plus 30 ducats.
There was also a bell which marked the half hours but it has since been discarded. In April 1755 Father Francesco Guida had a new clock made by Francesco Barletta.
